A stunning and large example of a beautifully engraved gentleman's signet ring.  The ring is made of solid fourteen carat gold, and is marked '585' on the inside of the shank.  The hand engraved intaglio crest is set in sardonyx, which has a pale white appearance from the surface, until it is engraved into, revealing its jet black layer beneath. The ring is American made, dating circa 1930's and is a ring size 11.
